The customized carbon armrest from TRI-C. At 17 cm long, the armrest offers a large contact surface. The width is adjusted to your anatomy. The durable carbon is extremely safe, and our padding is very comfortable. The side panels provide excellent support, and the design creates a sporty impression. This armrest is the "Special Edition Carbon" version.

We believe that arm sleeves for the masses have not received the development they deserve in recent years. There have been great developments for professionals and some arm sleeves that are significantly better than the standard. However, to date we have not found a solution for everyone that does justice to the importance of this key contact point between athlete and bike. Just like the saddle and shoes/soles, arm sleeves have a major influence on comfort in triathlon. Comfort, in turn, has a huge impact on aerodynamics. Even the best wheels cannot save as many watts over 180km as are lost by spending 5 extra minutes out of the aero position. Therefore, comfort in the arm sleeves is essential for high performance and a great riding experience.

Our solution for this is the TRI-C arm cuff. It is custom-made for you. For this, we need your forearm circumference at two different points. You can easily measure this yourself using our instructions .

geometry

The armrest is 170 mm long, providing a large surface area across which your weight can be distributed. This prevents uncomfortable pressure points on your forearm. We have a high outer wall with a height of 55 mm. This ensures maximum stability and thus greater safety and control when riding in an aerodynamic position. The inner wall is slightly flatter at 40 mm to allow space for a bike computer or bottle cage. The custom-made armrest ensures a perfect fit.

material

We manufacture the armrests ourselves from carbon fiber. This means they weigh just 50 to 75 g per armrest without padding. Despite their low weight, the armrests are very stable.

upholstery

TRI-C is breaking new ground when it comes to padding. Instead of simple foam with a thin polyester coating or rubber padding, we use a special combination of padding materials. Annoying problems such as excessive sweating, heat buildup, sticking, slipping, and chafing are a thing of the past.

We use perforated Alcantara for the outer material. This microfiber fabric is very comfortable against the skin and also very durable and abrasion-resistant. The fabric allows all liquids to pass through and doesn't stick to the skin, even when exposed to energy drinks. The padding is attached with a high-quality, durable Velcro fastener.

Three pads are supplied per arm shell: one for each side panel and a thicker pad for the underside. The first padding layer is a very lightweight and breathable material that allows for optimal air circulation and fluid transport. This prevents heat build-up in warm temperatures. Only this first padding layer is used on the side panels. For better cushioning, the underside padding is supplemented by a denser EPDM foam. This absorbs the athlete's weight and prevents the pad from sagging on very long rides. This absorbs bumps and guarantees comfort, even on poor road surfaces. The thickness of the padding is adjusted to your weight. This ensures optimal cushioning properties without adding unnecessary weight. The padding can be rinsed off after intensive use when cleaning the bike. We recommend lightly hand washing it in soapy water at regular intervals. We completely avoid the use of adhesives in our manufacturing process and sew the padding. This ensures a very long service life. If you decide to reorder a new cushion after a few years, you can simply do so using the order number printed on your armrest. We've saved the measurements below.

screw connection

The armrests are attached to your trailer with two screws each, each with an extra-flat, wide head. Common trailer systems have a thread for M5 or M6 screws. Regardless of which wheel you want to attach the armrests to, we'll send you the necessary screws. If you damage or lose a screw during installation, you'll also have a spare. The screws are made of high-quality A4 stainless steel, which won't rust even when exposed to electrolyte drinks.

In total we send five pieces M5 x 8mm and five pieces M6 x 8mm.

Delivery times vary depending on the product. We manufacture on demand in Germany. Arm rests have a production time of approximately 21 business days, and accessories such as BTAs have a production time of approximately 3 business days. In addition, there is a shipping time of 2-14 days, depending on the destination.
