When ordering armrests, the padding is included in the delivery. There's no need to purchase the padding separately!
For very active athletes, we recommend replacing the padding every two seasons for optimal comfort. To do so, simply provide the original order number or your name when ordering.
TRI-C is breaking new ground when it comes to padding. Instead of simple foam with a thin polyester coating or rubber padding, we rely on a special combination of padding materials. Annoying problems such as excessive sweating, heat buildup, sticking, slipping, and chafing are a thing of the past.
We use perforated Alcantara for the outer material. This microfiber fabric is very comfortable against the skin and also very durable and abrasion-resistant. The fabric allows all liquids to pass through and doesn't stick to the skin, even when exposed to energy drinks. The padding is attached with a high-quality, durable Velcro fastener.
Three pads are supplied per arm shell: one for each side panel and a thicker pad for the underside. The first padding layer is a very lightweight and breathable material that allows for optimal air circulation and fluid transport. This prevents heat build-up in warm temperatures. Only this first padding layer is used on the side panels. For better cushioning, the underside padding is supplemented by a denser EPDM foam. This absorbs the athlete's weight and prevents the pad from sagging during very long rides. This absorbs bumps and guarantees comfort even on poorer roads. The thickness of the padding is adjusted to your weight. This allows for optimal cushioning properties without adding unnecessary weight. The padding can be rinsed off after intensive use when cleaning the bike. We recommend lightly hand washing it in soapy water at regular intervals. We completely avoid the use of adhesives in our manufacturing process and sew the padding. This ensures a very long service life. If you decide to reorder a new cushion after a few years, you can simply do so using the order number printed on your armrest. We've saved the measurements below.
Delivery times vary depending on the product. We manufacture on demand in Germany. Arm rests have a production time of approximately 21 business days, and accessories such as BTAs have a production time of approximately 3 business days. In addition, there is a shipping time of 2-14 days, depending on the destination.
